Norway Hardcore Road Trip - Ninja club!

For young people between 16 and 25 years old with EWWS - From 13 to 26 07/2026

This trip is reserved for more experienced young kayakers.

To participate you must be totally comfortable on Class IV+ : the goal is to create the most “gangster” trip of the season, chasing the best conditions to descend the Norwegian Class IV–V streams and rivers of Voss, Sjoa, Romsdal and Trofors .

We will combine top-notch kayak coaching, river safety, and guided kayaking trips on Norway's most beautiful and challenging rivers.

Forecast rivers

Voss area

The most iconic descents in the European capital of extreme kayaking:

• Raundalselva – Train Station Section + Rafting Section + Marine Canyon

• Lower Myrk

• Stranda (starting with the famous Money Drop )

• Sogndalseva

Towards Trofors

During the transfer, we will try to catch some “hidden gems”:

• Gorge

• Orkla

• Boo

Trofors Area

Thanks to the local knowledge of Mariann Saether and Rhys Thomson , we will explore:

• Vefsna

• Susna

• Other top sections recommended based on conditions

Logistics & Program Norway Hardcore Trip

Arrival – Bergen (BGO) | July 13

• Flight arriving at Bergen Airport (BGO)

• Pick-up is available for arrivals before 4:00 PM.

• About 2 hours drive to the base of Voss , the starting point of the adventure

Return leg – Trondheim (TRD) | July 26

• Drop-off at Trondheim Airport (TRD)

• Book a flight after 3:00 PM (preferably as late as possible)

• Transfer: approximately 5 hours of travel

• If you have a very early flight, there is a direct night train Trofors → TRD

• Any time is manageable: we will always find a solution

• If you have difficulty finding suitable flights, the team can arrange alternative options

Game Plan – Flexible & Conditions-Based

This trip is much more free-form than other EWWS trips:

• No rigid schedule

• We will move to where the water level is better

• Possibility to stay longer in an area if conditions are perfect

• Or move quickly to other regions to capture the best Class IV–V stretches

In short: we will follow the flow , adapting the destination every day to ensure maximum quality and safety.
