Terms and Conditions of Service – Kajack

Welcome to Kajack.org.
By accessing and using our services (lessons, courses, training packages, and trips), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Scope of Service
Kajack provides:
- individual and group kayaking lessons,
- multi-day technical courses,
- river safety training,
- guided trips and experiences in Italy and abroad.
All services are provided by qualified instructors and in accordance with Kajack's safety standards.
2. Participant Requirements
To participate in water activities, you represent that you:
- are in good physical condition,
- know how to swim properly,
- have no medical conditions that could compromise your own safety or that of your group,
- will follow the instructor's instructions.
Kajack reserves the right to exclude a participant if it deems them to pose a risk to themselves or others.
3. Reservations
Reservations can be made via:
- website,
- email,
- direct message (WhatsApp/social media),
- direct arrangement with Kajack.
Reservations are considered confirmed only upon payment.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
(already defined in the previous policy — also reported here for completeness)
- Cancellation up to 5 days in advance: full refund.
- Cancellation between 5 and 2 days in advance: 50% refund.
- Cancellation between 2 and the same day: no refund, except for serious reasons.
Safety and Weather:
In case of bad weather, unsuitable water levels, or conditions that prevent the lesson from being carried out safely, the activity will be suspended and rescheduled at no additional cost.
5. Program Changes
Kajack may change the location, time, and content of the activity based on:
- weather conditions,
- water levels,
- group safety,
- instructor availability.
The goal is to ensure an optimal and safe experience.
6. Equipment
Participants must bring their own suitable or rented equipment.
Equipment provided by Kajack (if applicable) must be used correctly and returned in good condition.
Any intentional damage or damage caused by improper use may be charged.
7. Payments
- Payments can be made via:
- credit card,
- bank transfer,
- other methods available on the website.
Fees are quoted in euros and may vary depending on the type of service.
8. Liability
Whitewater kayaking is a potentially dangerous sport.
Kajack undertakes to:
- adopt all safety measures,
- provide qualified instructors,
- choose river sections appropriate for the group's level.
The participant accepts the risks associated with outdoor activities and undertakes to follow the instructor's instructions.
Kajack is not liable for:
- damage resulting from participant negligence,
- reckless behavior,
- improper use of equipment.
9. Travel and Expeditions Abroad
For travel outside of Italy, the participant is responsible for:
- necessary documents (passport, visas, insurance),
- physical fitness for prolonged activities,
- transportation of their kayak and equipment when required.
Kajack may change itineraries, dates, or activities for logistical or safety reasons.
10. Insurance
Participants are encouraged to obtain personal insurance that covers:
- outdoor sports activities,
- medical expenses,
- liability.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the site (text, images, logos, brand identity) is the property of Kajack and may not be copied without permission.
12. Privacy
Kajack processes personal data in compliance with the GDPR.

13. Jurisdiction
Any disputes will be governed by Italian law.
The competent court is the court of the consumer's place of residence or, alternatively, the court of Vercelli.
